[6/12/25] Brokers can now manually Create, Accept and Counter Quotes from Carriers that are Not Enabled to Book

Updated over 2 weeks ago

We’ve expanded our booking tools to give brokers more flexibility when working with carriers who are not “Enabled to Book Now.”

What’s New?

Brokers can now manually manage bookings with carriers that aren’t fully enabled for booking flows. This means:

  • Brokers can manually accept a quote from a non-enabled carrier.

  • Brokers can manually counter a quote from a non-enabled carrier.

  • Brokers can manually create a quote for a non-enabled carrier.

These manual actions can lead to a reservation, even if the carrier is not Enabled to Book.

Important: This change applies only to manual actions taken by the broker. There are no changes to automated quoting or booking workflows.

This allows brokerages to have more control over Carrier's booking abilities, as you will now be able to reserve loads with a Carrier via Parade without having to enable their own ability to do Book Nows with your Company.

What Hasn’t Changed?

  • Automated workflows remain unchanged. Non-enabled carriers still can’t book loads through automation (e.g. SmartLanes auto-assignments).

Why This Matters

This update empowers brokers to collaborate with a broader range of carriers by allowing manual intervention when needed. It supports load coverage goals while maintaining full control over carrier interactions.

Important

If the broker doesn’t manually initiate the quote or reservation, the non-enabled carrier will not be able to book the load.
