CoDriver Voice now brings Parade’s proven negotiation strategies — the same ones trusted in CoDriver Email — to live phone conversations. Your AI broker can now negotiate rates directly with carriers over the phone, applying assertive, data-backed tactics to drive quotes closer to your Book Now rate.

Think of it as your best broker on every call — confident, consistent, and always protecting your margins.


What It Does

When a carrier quotes above your Book Now rate, CoDriver Voice automatically engages using one of several tested negotiation strategies to work the carrier down. These include:

  • Small Margin from Book Now (Outlier): “Let’s not lose this one for {price_delta} bucks.”
    – Used when the carrier quote is roughly $50+ above Book Now.

  • Sense of Urgency: “Everyone’s jumping on this load right now… If you want it, need to be at {book_now_rate}.”
    – Creates time pressure to act.

  • Reference Other Carrier Quotes: “We’ve already got some competitive offers on that one.”
    – Builds social proof to push rates lower.

  • Direct Ask to Lower: “Need you to come down a bit. What’s your best?”
    – Simple and assertive counter, used broadly.

  • Odd-Number Counter Offer: “Let’s do $1,647.”
    – Adds precision and confidence, adds to the Book Now rate, never ending in 0 or 5.

Each conversation uses the strategy best suited to the scenario — or occasionally a mix — creating a natural, broker-like dialogue that consistently brings down carrier rates.


How to Enable

To turn Voice negotiation on or off, go to the CoDriver tab → Settings → Allow CoDriver to Negotiate.

This single toggle controls negotiation behavior across both Voice and Email channels.

Once enabled, CoDriver will automatically evaluate each incoming carrier call and decide when and how to negotiate based on the load context and configured thresholds.


Where to View Results

You can track negotiation metrics in the Reporting tab under CoDriver Voice.
