We updated the Reservation email to make it clear that the message is only an acknowledgement of a reservation request — it is not a rate confirmation. A Parade broker will review and confirm the final rate and booking details and will send a separate confirmation once the rate is final.
What changed
Subject, header, and body now explicitly say the email only acknowledges receipt and that a broker will confirm shortly.
Example
Why we made this change
Some carriers were interpreting the Reservation email as an automatic rate or booking confirmation. Clarifying language helps avoid misunderstandings, reduces follow-up questions, and improves the carrier experience by making the process and expectations explicit.
Who this affects
All carriers who receive Reservation emails. The change is informational only — it does not affect booking or billing workflows. Brokers will still follow the same confirmation and booking procedures.
No action required
There’s nothing you need to do. The new wording will appear automatically in Reservation emails going forward.
Questions or feedback
If you have feedback on the new language or want the copy adjusted for a particular customer or pilot, please contact support@parade.ai or your Parade account manager.
Note
No action is required — the wording will update automatically in future Reservation emails.
