What is Estimated Carrier Bid? A Parade feature that shows you a market-based estimate of what carriers have bid on similar lanes. It appears throughout the platform anywhere rates are currently displayed.
What data is used to generate it?
Geographic origin and destination (not street addresses)
Carrier bid amount
Load pickup date
Load distance
Equipment type
No carrier identity, shipper data, or load details are used.
Can other brokers see my rates? No. Individual quote records are never visible to other brokers. The output is always a blended, normalized estimate across many quotes. Parade's "How this was calculated" panel — accessible via the "?" next to any estimate — shows exactly what data informed the result, including the search radius used.
Does my data contribute to the estimates others see? Yes, by default. Your carrier quote data (as described above) is included in the aggregate dataset. If you opt out, your data — including historical quotes — is fully excluded from all estimates at query time.
How do I opt out? Contact support@parade.ai. There is no self-serve toggle at this time.
What happens after I opt out? During the initial launch period, you can still view estimates powered by opted-in brokers' data. If a customer chooses not to share their data / opts out of data sharing, Parade reserves the right to disable the carrier benchmark feature for them.
How do I opt back in? Contact support@parade.ai at any time.
Who controls this setting? Opt-in/out is managed at the broker account level by Parade's support team.
