Carriers Tab

The Carrier Tab in Parade streamlines carrier management by providing carrier insights, load history, and relationship tools

Updated over a week ago

Introduction

The Carrier Tab in Parade is your centralized hub for managing and analyzing your carrier network. This powerful tool provides visibility into key details about your carriers, from their load history to contact information, while also enabling you to efficiently assign and manage carrier relationships.

By default, it shows only carriers that have hauled loads for you in the last 90 days. However, applying filters —such as the search bar or the "Only My Carriers" option— enables you to view your entire carrier database.

Key features of the Carrier Tab include:

  • Filter and Search Tools: Quickly locate specific carriers by name, MC, DOT, or other criteria.

  • Carrier Details: Comprehensive information on each carrier, such as name, domicile, fleet size, and primary contact.

  • Load History: A breakdown of loads completed in the last 30, 60, and 90 days, helping you track carrier performance.

  • Carrier Relationship Management: Efficiently assign carriers to managers and track their onboarding and engagement status.

Whether you're managing hundreds of carriers or just a select few, the Carrier Tab offers the tools you need to optimize your operations, build stronger relationships, and scale your network effectively.

Breakdown

Let's breakdown each column and field of the Carriers Tab:

Fields:

Carriers Found

  • The Carriers Tab will initially load and display only carriers that have had loads within the last 90 days. In the example screenshot above, "639 Carriers Found" indicates that 639 carriers have covered loads for you in the past 90 days, and those are the ones listed in the page.

  • However, if any filter is applied —such as using the search bar or enabling the "Only My Carriers" option— it will then display all carriers, not just those with loads in the past 90 days.

Search Bar

  • Here you are able to search for a specific carrier by name, MC or DOT number.

Only My Carriers

  • If you'd like to filter the page to show only carriers managed by you, click on the "Only My Carriers" checkbox on the top right. See "Carrier Relationship Management" below for a deeper dive on this.

Columns:

Carrier

  • Relevant info about the carrier: name, DOT, and MC. Next to the carrier's name you can also see a circle that indicates this carrier's onboarding status with Parade. More information here - See Carrier Onboarding Status at a Glance

Domicile

  • This indicates the city/state where the carrier is based.

# of Trucks

  • Here you can quickly see the number of trucks this carrier has.

Primary Contact

  • The primary point of contact of the carrier, usually indicated by their email (you can also see their phone number by going into the Carrier Profile -> Contacts -> the one marked with a star is the primary contact).

Carrier Manager

  • This is where you can quickly see the Carrier Manager assigned to this carrier.

30 | 60 | 90 Load History

  • In this column there will be three numbers, each indicating the number of loads done by this carrier for you in the corresponding time period: 30 days | 60 Days | 90 Days.

Enable for Parade

  • This section will show wether the carrier is Enabled for Parade (toggle turned on) or Not Enabled for Parade (toggle turned off). See Carrier Onboarding Status at a Glance for a deeper dive.

Book Now Enabled

  • Here you will be able to quickly see if this carrier is Book Now Enabled (toggle turned on). This is the button option that allows carriers to accept a load at a specific rate (digital booking).

Carrier Relationship Management

The carrier sales teams that have carrier managers can benefit largely from the Carriers Tab.

A carrier manager is the single point of contact relationship owner between the brokerage and a carrier. With Parade carrier managers will be able to be in charge of more carriers and actively manage larger amounts of relationships using automation.

How do I assign carriers to myself or other users?

  1. Search for the carrier by name or DOT#

  2. Open the Carrier Profile and click on Automation Settings

  3. Find your name under “Managed by”

If you have the ability to tag carrier managers in your TMS, reach out to your customer success rep at Parade and we can mass upload assigned carriers.
