Today, we’re proud to introduce Cascade, Parade’s new, smart waterfall tendering tool. In this article, we want to provide a detailed overview of how Cascade works.
When should I create a Cascade?
We don’t know all the instances when you should create a Cascade, we are still in the learning phase! However, we do know some of the key factors to consider when creating a Cascade:
Load Volume - you have plenty of loads running through a lane
Dedicated Carriers - you have core carriers running a lane
Lead Time - you know in advance that you’re covering loads on a lane
We often see these three factors closely associated with dedicated freight - in this scenario, the carrier agrees to haul consistent truckload shipments in the same lane at a fixed rate for a specified amount of time. Start putting your dedicated freight on autopilot!
