Disable Loadboard Tracking for CoDriver

Updated over 2 weeks ago

This functionality lets your brokerage turn off Loadboard performance tracking when needed.

What is Loadboard Tracking in CoDriver?

Parade tracks loadboard performance by adding a plus addressing tracker (like +dat, +truckstop, or +123) to the default loadboard email. That lets us tell where quotes or inquiries are coming from, so brokerages can see which boards are generating the most activity.

Example:

loads@externalid.mail.parade.ailoads+dat@externalid.mail.parade.ai

If your brokerage is using the default Parade email

Loadboard tracking should be used when the default email is used.

If your brokerage is using a masked email

If you're using a masked email (like loads@yourdomain.com):

  • If your domain supports plus addressing and you want to track performance, keep tracking on. It’ll help you see which boards are most effective.

  • If your domain doesn’t support plus addressing you’ll need to turn tracking off. If it stays on, emails with tracers like +dat will fail to deliver and won’t reach CoDriver.

  • Plus addressing works automatically with providers like Google, Microsoft, Apple, Yahoo. If that's the case and you want to track performance, you don’t need to do anything, tracking stays on and just works.

The takeaway

Keep tracking on if you want visibility into loadboard performance and your email setup supports it. Turn it off if plus addressing isn’t supported or you’d rather not track performance.

This setting gives you flexibility to make sure emails reach CoDriver reliably, no matter how you’re set up.

FAQ

  • How do I know if my email domain supports plus addressing?

Try sending yourself an email like you+test@yourdomain.com. If it lands in your inbox, plus addressing is supported. If it bounces or disappears, it’s likely not supported—or it may be blocked by your IT team.

  • What happens if tracking is left on but plus addressing isn't supported?

Emails with tracers (like loads+dat@yourdomain.com) will fail to deliver and won’t reach CoDriver. That means you’ll miss out on quote and inquiry data.

  • Can I still use the default Parade email without tracking?

Yes. If tracking is disabled, we’ll just use the unmodified email (e.g., loads@externalid.mail.parade.ai) to ensure delivery.

  • Do I need to use tracking if I don’t care about loadboard performance?

No—you can turn it off. Tracking is optional, and this setting gives you control based on your preferences and setup.

  • Who can help me change this setting or check if plus addressing is supported?

Reach out to your IT team to confirm email settings. If you need help from us, contact Parade Support and we’ll walk you through it.
