TruckStop Equipment Types

TruckStop displays the equipment type using its internal numeric ID, rather than the name or label you're used to - this article explains the ID-to-equipment name mapping

Updated this week

TruckStop’s system uses equipment type IDs (e.g., 10, 22, 44) when receiving load data via their API. These IDs correspond to specific equipment types (e.g., Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed) based on their internal list.

This is expected behavior on the TruckStop side and does not indicate an error in how the load was posted.

To understand which ID corresponds to which equipment type, reference TruckStop’s official API documentation here:

This page includes a full list of all supported equipment types and their corresponding IDs. For example:

ID

Name

12

Flatbed

31

Refrigerated (Reefer)

43

Van

How to Check Live Load Data

To confirm how a load is appearing on TruckStop:

  1. Identify the Load in Parade.

  2. Select the Syndication tab, locate TruckStop and click "Live Info (Check Details)".

  3. In the modal, expand “Show Details” and use Ctrl + F (or Command + F on Mac) to search for the "equipment" section in the payload.

  4. For example, if you see ID 43, this corresponds to Van, which matches the equipment type expected for the load.
