Marketplace Syndication: General API

The standardized API for the most modern Syndication Partner integrations.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Overview

Parade's Load Syndication API v2 introduces expanded capabilities for distributing your freight across multiple marketplaces and load boards. The General API enables both your IT team and third-party service integrators to connect with Parade's syndication architecture—enabling customization of posting details, syndication to external load boards, and development of custom applications like private load boards or asset-based dispatch systems.

This means you have more control over your load distribution strategy—choosing which syndication partners handle specific load boards based on your business needs.

What is the General API?

The General API is a standardized interface within our Load Syndication API v2 that allows certified service integrators to receive and distribute your load data to third-party load boards and marketplaces not directly supported by Parade.

Service integrators specialize in posting to specific load boards and can handle the unique requirements of those platforms, while Parade focuses on building the capacity management tools that increase your digital freight.

How It Works

When you enable a service integrator through Parade's Marketplace Syndication settings:

  1. Your loads flow through Parade's syndication infrastructure

  2. The service integrator receives load data via the Integrator API

  3. The integrator posts to their supported load boards on your behalf

  4. You maintain control over which loads are distributed where and when

Your Parade workflow remains unchanged—loads continue to flow seamlessly, and CoDriver contact information stays consistent across all channels.

Benefits

Expanded Reach: Access additional load boards through specialized service integrators who have deep expertise in specific marketplaces. You can even syndicate freight to yourself (e.g., brokerage freight to asset dispatchers; propping up your own carrier load board).

Operational Continuity: No changes to your Parade workflow. Loads posted through service integrators maintain your CoDriver email and phone numbers.

Customer Choice: You decide which service integrators to work with and which load boards to enable. Parade provides recommendations, but the relationship is directly between you and the integrator.

Reduced Complexity: Service integrators handle the nuances of posting to specific marketplaces, allowing Parade to focus on building capacity management tools that increase your digital freight.

FAQs

Q: Does this change how my loads are posted?

A: No. Your workflow in Parade remains exactly the same. The Integrator API simply enables additional distribution options through service integrators for load boards not directly supported by Syndication API v2.

Q: Will my CoDriver contact info stay the same?

A: Yes. Loads posted through service integrators continue to use your CoDriver email and phone numbers—carriers responding to those postings will still route through CoDriver.

Q: Is there a cost?

A: Parade does not charge for enabling service integrators. Integrators may have their own pricing—you'll see terms when accepting their T&Cs. Certified integrators introduced by Parade offer introductory periods at no cost.

Q: Can I use multiple service integrators?

A: Yes. You can enable different integrators for different load boards based on your needs.

Q: What if I want to post to a load board directly from my TMS instead?

A: That's always an option. If you prefer to manage specific load board postings directly through your TMS, you can configure that separately. The Integrator API is an additional option, not a requirement.
