Types of Capacity Matches and Uses

How do you tell what type of capacity it is, and how can I interact?

Updated over 2 years ago

Inside of the Parade Loads tab, you will have the ability to see matching capacity for each load. You will either see  capacity matches, that have been entered by various methods like emails received, delivering trucks and human entered, as well as suggested matches that uses the machine learning and AI to determine a qualified match.

Load Level Matches

When you enter a load there will be two main types of matches. The first being Direct Matches. These come from Delivering Trucks on current loads for you, Searches from the Parade Partner Page as well as Capacity Extraction emails.

From here you can see if a carrier has submitted a quote for the shipment and how much it is for.

Note: You will only show delivering trucks if you currently have a load that finalizes near your origin of the load and that new lane is a match for the delivery truck.

Suggested Matches

These match types are not based on live capacity, but engage our AI and machine learning. Our system takes all of your load history and carrier interactions (e.g. truck in area, inbound trucklist emails) to build the most robust carrier profile you can find. These suggestions are calculated based on those learnings and past history. We then take that data and accurately predict which carrier will match with the load.

The data you see from the Suggested Matches is all built off of your companies data. From here you can see the amount of loads that particular carrier has done for your company in the last 30/60/90 days. You can also see and make comments on each carrier for everyone at your brokerage to see. If you need to call the carrier you can click the phone icon to expose the carriers phone number.

The most powerful aspect of Suggested Matches is the historical Rates the carriers have done the same or similar lanes for. Use that to leverage your carrier relationships and find new carriers for lanes you didn't know they ran.
