One of the perks of Parade’s integration with DAT for load postings is that if a load fails to post to DAT, we show the error that DAT returns. These errors contain critical information to understand why the load failed to post to DAT. Below, we’ve broken down the most common errors and what to do to correct these issues.

"message": "Forbidden", "statusCode": 403: This error shows when there is a misconfiguration in the DAT account. If you see this error, please reach out to our support team through Intercom and we will reach out to DAT to get this corrected.

“message": "Missing or invalid token": This error returns when the credentials being used for a load are invalid. This could be due to incorrect capitialization, DAT service username or password. If your team uses individual usernames, double check the User Settings in Parade. If this looks correct, please reach out to our support team with the load and credentials being utilized and we will work with DAT to correct the issue.

"DAT server error for null: Request failed with status code 502": A 502 error would imply that either the DAT servers are having an issue and DAT is experiencing an outage or some kind of network issue. Please reach out to Parade Support and we will work with DAT to ensure what is happening with the DAT servers.

"keyword": "RequestValidationError: Schema validation error", "message": ": type should be boolean": Schema Validation errors are errors with the data that is being sent. For example you've typed in a set of numbers when it's expecting a set of letters. If you receive this error, please reach out to Parade Support and our Engineering team will review to see the cause of this issue.

"keyword": "RequestValidationError: Schema validation error", "message": ": pattern should match pattern: This error occurs when an invalid character is included in the load data sent into DAT. The load data will need to be updated to remove the character.

"message": "expired postings cannot be changed": Missing Dates and Times: Expired postings cannot be changed means that a user tried to edit a posting that was expired and taken off the board. If this error is received, you will need to post a new load to Parade and we will post it through to DAT.

"DAT Auth failed for USERNAME: Request failed with status code 403": This error returns when the credentials being used for a load are invalid. This could be due to incorrect capitialization, DAT service username or password. If your team uses individual usernames, double check the User Settings in Parade. If this looks correct, please reach out to our support team with the load and credentials being utilized and we will work with DAT to correct the issue.

"message": "Origin not found" or "message": "Destination not found": This error is returned when the Origin or Destination city and zip code combination are not found in the DAT database. If you receive this error, please reach out to our support team with the Load ID, origin and destination city/state/zip and we will work with DAT to get this added to their system.

Blocked Account Email: Outside of Parade, you may receive and email sent to the address attached to your DAT account from DAT that your account has been blocked. This occurs when DAT’s servers see your DAT account attempting too many postings. This happens rarely, and if you receive the email, simply click on the button to “Unlock Your Account” then repost the loads to DAT under the Marketplace Syndication section in Parade.
