We’ve introduced a new tab to the Suggested Lanes section in Smart Lanes. The new Suggested Auto-Assign Lanes tab provides recommendations for lanes ideal for Auto Assignment based on carrier concentration.
This feature makes it quick and easy to identify lanes with consistent carrier activity that are prime candidates for Auto-Assignment. When you automate your repeat freight with your best carriers, you can free up your reps to work more difficult loads, increasing overall efficiency.
How to Use the Suggested Auto-Assign Lanes Tab
Accessing the Suggested Auto-Assign Lanes Tab
Navigate to the Smart Lanes section of your dashboard.
Click on the Suggested Lanes tab.
Select the new tab titled Suggested Auto-Assign Lanes.
Understanding the Report
The report will display all your lanes with the highest concentration by a single carrier.
When you have a carrier who handles most of the freight on a lane, you should consider auto-assigning those loads to save time on tendering freight.
The dashboard below shows lanes that had at least 10 loads over the past 90 days where a single carrier handled 50% or more of those loads.
For example, if you see a lane from Gulfport to Palmetto for dry van that has been handled by the same carrier for 22 out of 22 total loads in the last 90 days, this lane is a strong candidate for Auto Assignment.
Downloading the Results
If you wish to download the report, you can do so by clicking the three-dot icon to the right of the report.
This will allow you to export the data as a CSV file for further analysis or record-keeping.
