CARRIER'S SYNC:
Any changes to a carrier's status are sent over immediately and processed into Parade.
We also do a weekly sync on the weekend (Saturday evening) for the carriers as well, in which we pull: mc_number, dot_number, is_on_deck, external_id, no_dispatch, carrier_contacts, enable_reservations
We currently only pull in lane preferences on the carrier sync that happens once per week (Saturday evening).
And in order to sync those, some configurations on the McLeod side are needed, such as:
⚠️ Carrier's not syncing - if you see carriers that don't match between Parade and McLeod the best way to update the carrier is to change their status in McLeod to Inactive, click save, then after a minute or two, reset the status to Active. That will trigger the live update and get the carrier going on Parade.
GENERAL SYNC:
It takes about a minute. Meaning 1 minute between when McLeod sends it to us, but then it has to go through a couple middleware layers so it could take 2-3 minutes to post.
For load we should get updates once a day, every morning.
