1- Does the system look at the shipments we have along with the carriers we work with and notify carriers if we have loads picking up where they might be dropping off? To offer them a reload? If so, does the system only send these notifications to in-network carriers?

The system will not notify the carriers automatically unless it's set up in Smart Lanes.

However, if you navigate to the Loads page and click on a load, you can see that there are several matching points for the "Direct Matches", with one of them being "Reload":

You can use that matching point to filter for carriers that might want a reload and send them an email.

A reload email is usually based on matching an "Available Load" to a "Covered Load Data we got with a Carrier Assignment".

  • IE Carrier A is assigned to a broker load in the TMS from Chicago to Indy

  • We noticed the same broker has an available load to cover from Indy to Detroit

  • Parade will send a Reload Email to carrier A showing a potential reload in Indy if they want to go to Detroit
