User permission levels that do not allow reassigning carriers

When it comes to creating a user, Parade has several permission types availabe for the users, such as:

If you already have a user created and would like to customize any role:

  • Select the role in question, the permissions for this role will populate

In the exact same section, change the role from the role selected to “Custom”. This will allow you to remove any of the selected permissions

Permission Breakout Definitions:

  • Archive Loads: Allows the user to Archive a load from the Loads tab and the specific Load page (Make Unavailable).

  • Create Offers: Allows the user to update a Book Now rate from the Loads tab and on the specific Load page.

  • Manage Load Visibility: Allows the user to mark a load as not visible on the Loads tab.

  • View Only: Allows the user to view loads on the Loads tab and review a Load and Direct/Suggested Matches on the specific Load page.

  • Manage Load Data (archiving and price updates): Allows the user to Update Load Rates directly on the specific Load page.

  • Manage all Rules: Allows the user to create a Smart Rule directly from the Direct or Suggested Matches on the Load Page

  • Manage Carrier Specific Rules: If the user is the carrier manager, this permission allows the user to create a Smart Rule directly from the Direct or Suggested Matches on the Load Page.


We have seen cases where reps will take carriers from other reps, and this could turn out to be a big issue.

So if you experience a similar scenario, and your goal is just not to allow the reps to reassign the carrier managers, we would recommend the following user permission type instead:

And under Permission Type change their permission to “Agent Ops Limited”:
