Inviting a carrier contact

Invite carriers to join their company's profile in Parade to access your Private Portal and have the permissions associated to the profile.

✅ Why Invite Carrier Contacts?

Inviting a contact gives them access to:

  • View and respond to load opportunities sent via email or Magic Links

  • Update truck availability and communicate preferences directly

  • Participate in Dispatch Campaigns and outbound engagement

🧭 How to Invite a Carrier Contact

  1. Navigate to the Carrier Profile

    Go to the Carriers tab and search for the carrier you want to add contacts to.

  2. Click Profile and select the “Contact” tab

    On the carrier’s profile page, find the Contacts section and click “Add”.

  3. Fill in Contact Information

    Enter the following fields:

    • Name

    • Email Address

    • Phone Number (optional)

4. Send the Invite

Click the envelope icon and then SEND button to send the invite. The contact will receive an email with instructions to create their Parade account.

📝 What Happens Next?

  • The invited contact will receive an email prompting them to log in.

  • Once they accept the invite, they’ll be linked to that Carrier Profile in Parade.

💡 Best Practices

  • Invite at least one contact per carrier you work with regularly.

  • Make sure email addresses are valid and active - this ensures offers and reservations flow properly.

  • Use clear naming conventions for reps (e.g., “John - Dispatch” or “Maria - West Region”).

🔧 Troubleshooting

If a contact doesn’t receive the invite:

  • Ask them to check their spam/junk folder

  • Confirm the email address is correct

  • You can resend the invite from the Carrier Profile page
